“We absolutely loved our stay at Bougainvillea House! The area is nice and quiet but in reach of the beach and the touristy area and shops. The house is well kept and perfectly equipped. The aircon keeps you nice and cool in the bedrooms. The outside area has shaded loungers and a perfectly clean pool. There are some pool floaties and games for a perfect lazy pool day. The maid comes three times a week and keeps everything perfectly clean. The caretaker lives on the property and is very friendly and helpful.”

“This is one of the best places we have stayed in The Gambia, nice, clean and quiet. I spent a wonderful and relaxing week with the family. The bungalow is well equipped and it lacks nothing, it feels like home without being at home. The private pool is a great place to relax surrounded of beautiful plants and well visited by gorgeous butterflies and birds. Anna is a very nice host, warm welcoming and always available for any question, request or suggestions. A perfect place to be”

“Bougainvillea House is an absolute haven of peace and tranquillity, tucked away but within easy reach of the beaches and tourist areas. Many thanks to the lovely owner, Anne, who was so helpful and friendly. The booking process was a breeze and a no-fuss, late night check-in was much appreciated by weary travellers. The entire bungalow was spotlessly clean, well furnished and comfortable. What a bonus to have a fully equipped kitchen, a chilled water dispenser and a washing machine. The garden and pool areas were meticulously maintained every day. Comfortable outdoor furniture and sunbeds surrounded the pool, with shady umbrellas for relief from the midday sun, beautiful flowering plants and fruit trees which attracted local wildlife. Hummingbirds were frequent visitors. Staff on-site were unobtrusive, cheerful and friendly. There are just no negatives here!”

Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, die Zimmer geräumig, alles funktioniert und ist sauber.
Der Pool ist wunderbar, gepflegt und gereinigt.
Die Häuser sind in einer ruhigen Gegend. Alles zusammen gibt ein sehr gut mit *. Ich komme bestimmt wieder her. Danke für die schöne Zeit.”

“A beautiful and very well-maintained apartment.
We spent two wonderful, relaxing weeks there in one of the two bungalows. The small complex is very well maintained and the equipment in the bungalow lacks nothing. The private pool is a great place to relax. Bijilo beach is not too far away and sunbeds with soft drinks are available from local bars. All in all a wonderful stay in The Gambia and definitely not our last!”

“Wir haben 2 Wochen hier verbracht und haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Empfangen wurden wir mit einem frischen Obstkorb.
Da ich seit vielen Jahren mehrmals im Jahr in Gambia bin, kann ich sagen, dass dies dort für mich die beste Unterkunft war und diese auch einem Hotel vorziehen würde. Es gibt eine große Küche, die mit Waschmaschine, Toaster, Herd, Ofen, Wasserspender, Kühl und Gefrierschrank keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Betten sind groß und gemütlich. Alle Räume sind klimatisiert und zusätzlich mit Ventilatoren ausgestattet. Häuser und Garten sind top gepflegt und sauber. Auch die Lage ist super ruhig gelegen und man kommt schnell überall hin.”

Wil eigenlijk geen revieuw schrijven omdat meerdere dit schitterende plekje dan gaan vinden maar Anne en Verana verdienen dit.

Het ontbreekt je hier aan niets!
Schoon, zeer goede wifi, kraak helder zwembad, privacy, warm water, 24/7 stroom enz.enz

Bij aankomst verse bloemen, fruit en zelfs een kerstboom.
Is er wel iets dan wordt het direkt opgelost.genoeg handdoeken. Wie hier klaagt moet echt thuis blijven. Europeesche standaard!

Onze auto kon snachts binnen en zaten daar zeer centraal als we voor onze stichting op pad moesten.

Om de hoek een local shop voor brood en kleine boodschappen. Wat wil een mens nog meer?

Wij zaten in huis B en
komen zeker terug!”
